Nice list. Maybe i could continue and add some more quirks:

11. Open List: Let me remove every entry

I want to arrange the "Open List" menu the way I like. Right now i can remove most of the default entries but not all. Some simply can't be removed. Why do I need "Internet Explorer Links", "History", "Web Browser", "Getting Started" ? I don't use them. So please let me delete them.

12. Open List: Annoying right-click behaviour

If I right-click on an entry in the Open-List menu a menu list with options appears. If i move my mouse over a different entry in the Open List then the already open menu list does not move to this new entry. Even worse i can't even close menu any other way then clicking it again, which then closes the whole Open-list.
Try reorganising items in the forth sub-folder when the whole list keeps closing.

13. Toolbar does not keep its position

If i move the toolbar "Search" to the right corner of the window then it does not stay there. After each restart of the Notes client this toolbar moves somewhere to the middle of the screen. (I am using a resolution of 1600x1200 pixels which may be causing this.)

14. Sidebar does not remember its last state

Everytime i start my client the sidebar is visible and takes at least 1cm of my screen. If i change the status of it to "Closed" (via the menu or the tiny twistie) then it disappears. However this status is not remembered and after a restart it is again set to "Thin".

15. Show thumbnails, does not show all thumbnails

The new function "Show thumbnails" would be nice for users who have many tabs open. However for many of our application it simply can't display the thumbnails. Instead a default icon is shown.

Nevertheless i like the R8 client much better then any previous and would not like to go back. Hopefully these things get improved in 8.0.1 which promises to be much more then just a maintenance release.
